IMPACT PERSONAL TRAINING, LLC

Frequently Asked Question

1. What will in person training look like?  There are two options:

- In my personal gym. These workouts can translate to the gym where you hold membership, if applicable.

- In Your Home. Training in your home, with your equipment. (At times, I may suggest a few inexpensive items for you to purchase).

2. What will online training look like?

At the start of each 8-12 week program, we walk through each workout in your program, remotely. In subsequent weeks, we meet for desired sessions/week. You then rotate through subsequent workouts on your own, encouraging a regular exercise routine. Weekly remote coaching sessions then focus on workout form, accountability, etc......*see below for details

3. What will the coaching aspect of training look like?

*Coaching is key to long term success and an essential part of any training package.

Remote coaching sessions cover progress, motivation, accountability, consistency, workouts, nutrition (if applicable), troubleshooting, habit building, etc., via phone, skype, zoom, or email, whichever is best for you.

4. What is included in my training package?

- Every 8-12 weeks: Individualized evidence-based workout program

- In person or remote training/coaching sessions, depending on your package.

- PT Distinction training app listing all workouts and exercises with videos.

- I will track your progress throughout each week, based on the training log in your app

5. What is included in my nutrition coaching?

- Initial assessment

- General menu & food prep framework

- Individualized guidelines according to your lifestyle & biometrics

- Problem solving strategies & weekly accountability.

6. How “individualized” is my training program?

Your program is based on your personality, specific goals, motivations, movement assessment, and health, fitness & injury history. Your program will be uniquely tailored to you.

7. As a trainer, do you have a specialization?

I have a broad base of clients, male and female, all with a variety of goals: general fitness, body recomposition, strength training, and bodybuilding.

8. How much will I pay every month for my training subscription?

Your fee is based is on the number of items you choose for your package each month:

- Training/Coaching Sessions: $85/hr OR $65/45 min. OR. $50/ half hr.

- Nutrition Coaching: $100/month.

* 3 month subscription required to allow adequate time for program effectiveness.

For example, your monthly training plan could look like this:

1st week: 1 hr workout session ($85)

2nd week: 1/2 hr session ($50)

3rd week: 1/2 hr session ($50)

4th week: 1/2 hr session ($50)

- Nutrition Coaching ($100)

- Monthly Subscription Total : $335

9. How far do you travel for at-home or gym sessions?

If your home is not more than 10 minutes away, there will be no additional cost.

10. How do your rates compare with other online trainers? Online trainers can seem to offer their services for less. Why?

- Exercise and nutrition will typically be advertised as “custom” - In the fine print, these programs are not written specifically for you, (they are just written specifically by that trainer). I tailor exercise programs specifically to you, and based on your personal anatomy, and story.

- Trainer connection will be advertised as “24/7” - The trainer connection will most likely not be based on an understanding of who you are. I will always respond as your personal trainer - your coach, educator and motivator. Our communications are based on your preferences, challenges, past performance, current progressions, etc….. while keeping your big picture in perspective.

- No assessment is offered - If necessary, the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is used by the NFL, FIFA, NCAA, etc - to assess every athlete. The certification enables me to address movement issues before they cause you injury or impede your progress.

11. Do I need a gym membership?

It depends on your goals and program. A gym can provide fewer distractions, a local community of support, and more variety in exercise selection. Programs can be written for your gym outside of our sessions, if desired. However, with the equipment you already own, or with the purchase of a few small and inexpensive items, there are plenty of at-home (and travel) exercise options available!

12. Is Impact PT okay for beginners?

Absolutely, Impact is appropriate and helpful for clients at any level. Our training is personal, based on where you are, and where you want to be.

13. Am I too "out of shape” for Impact?

Absolutely not! Impact trains clients personally. Programs are written for each individual, based on their age, gender, goals, current fitness level, exercise and injury history. Muscle deterioration is based on decreased movement, not necessarily age - so, keep moving!
